35th annual Greater Indianapolis CROP Hunger Walk
(Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty)
Sunday October 19 at 1:30 p.m
42nd and Michigan Road—Christian Theological Seminary Route: 3.5 miles through the Butler-Tarkington Neighborhood
The CROP Hunger Walk raises funds and awareness to help fight hunger around the world and around the corner. The funds will benefit the overall work and ministry of Church World Service. Speedway UMC has set a goal of 10 walkers and hopes to raise $1,000.00 to help stop hunger and poverty here in our community and around the world You can register online and begin gathering sponsors at http://hunger.cwsglobal.org/site/TR/2014FallCROPHungerWalk/TR-Fall2014?pg=entry&fr_id=18897 Click on “Donate”, Click on “I want to support a team”, Scroll down the list and select “Speedway United Methodist Church”, Choose “Donate now” to donate or choose “Join” to become a walker.

Monsters on Main
You are invited to pick a theme and decorate your trunk or vehicle and join in the fun. You must arrive between 4:00-4:30 on the 25th to make sure all cars are parked before the kids start Trunk or Treating. Please bring several large bags of candy. Along with Trunk or Treaters there will be a fortune teller, an airbrush tattoo artist and a haunted trailer.
