Disciple Beginning in September!

The Disciple Bible Study Series has been a stable of the educational ministries of Speedway UMC for over ten years. Over 140 persons have completed one of the Disciple series.

Disciple One BibleStudy: Becoming Disciples through Bible Study is a 34 week study that moves through the biblical story from Genesis to Revelation giving you an overview of the entire Bible. It is highly recommended that you take Disciple One before taking any of the other advanced Disciple classes. A minimum of 8 participants will be required to offer this course. We are exploring offering Disciple One this Fall. If you are interested contact the church office. Pastor Darren will be offering Disciple One in the Fall of 2010 on Wednesday evenings beginning September 8. Sign Up today!

Disciple Four Bible Study: Under the Tree of Life is a 32 week study that focues on Ruth, 1 and 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, Lamentations, and Daniel. New Testament Scriptures include the Gospel of John; 1, 2, and 3 John; James; Jude; and Revelation. Disciple Four is designed for those who have completed Disciple One. A minimum of 8 participants will be required to offer this course.Tuesday nights beginning September 7. Sign Up today!

Jesus in the Gospels is a 30 week study that invites believers to look at Jesus in each of the four Gospels and ask the question, 'Who is the Jesus that you see?' Participants should have completed Disciple One. Leader: Anne Sering. This will be a daytime study. The day and time has not been set. If you are interested let us know which day and time is good for you.

Children and Youth Sunday School Classes

Ever wonder what God wants you to do with your life? How can being a part of the church help me discover my divine purpose? How can I serve Christ? This 8-week study will explore God's will for your life and how you can serve God through the church. Everyone is invited, persons considered membership are encourage to attend. This class is offered one to two times a year.
