We provide year round support to the staff at 5 local elementary schools. The needs often include school supplies, hand sanitizer, wipes, gloves, hats, coats and snack items.
Spring / April
Our volunteers within the church show up for the Speedway Community Clean Up Day. We spend about 4 hours picking up trash along the roadways. This makes our community not only look better,but it creates a safer town and keeps trash out of the waterways.

Volunteers from our church participate in the town event which identifies home owners who may have a physical limitation and need some basic exterior home repairs.

Our church hosts food drives for Sparky's Pantry which is housed at Speedway High School. This is a wonderful program that is run by students in the special abilities class. They stock the shelves,prepare orders 2 times a month and deliver to families as they arrive on distribution day. The Pantry normally serves 75 local families and relies solely on donations to function.

The Missions team sponsors the youth who attend church camp each year, providing tuition assistance and helping campers prepare for their journey.
Fall
Over 30 local hand made artisans set up inside the church with their latest creations. This brings in 250 to 300 people from the community to our church.

The Chocolate Walk is a fundraising event that supports the Tanya Isaac Foundation, Inc. This non profit was started after our church and community lost a valued member. The Mission Team has participated every year handing out chocolate and letting folks know that Tanya attended this church.

The Missions Team put together and gathers donations from the congregation to box up complete meals for deserving families during the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Winter
Missions hosts an Angel Tree in the church every year to collect hats,gloves and scarves. These are given to local groups with a need during the season.

We are given 3 or 4 families to shop for during the Christmas season.These gifts often include clothing, boots, coats, a toy and book.These wrapped and color coded gifts are delivered for parent pick up before Christmas.
