Speedway UMC Children’s Ministries Director
Speedway UM Church is excited to announce an opportunity for a part-time Children’s Ministries Director to help us to grow our children’s ministry. This is a part-time position: 20 hours per week, days include Sundays, a competitive salary, continuing education funds, travel expenses and a budget for the ministry.
Key responsibilities for the position include:
- Choose and implement a Bible-based curriculum approved by the Senior Pastor for children, infant through 5th grade, with transition plans to help them grow spiritually from one developmental stage to the next
- Organize and lead Children’s Church that occurs during Sunday service
- Develop and implement other children’s programs and service projects.
The director will, with the help of the people of this church, build a sustainable Children’s Ministry that makes disciples for the transformation of the world.
