Come gather, grow and go with us!
The Worship Service is a mixture of traditional and contemporary music.
Parking is available on the East side of the church. You may enter through the East Entrance.
Handicap parking is available on the west side and southwest of the church. You may enter the church at the west entry, where there is an elevator to take you to the sanctuary.
Upon entering either entrance, you will be welcomed by one of our greeters. The greeters will answer any questions that you might have. New visitors will receive a welcome gift. The greeters also take attendance and will ask visitors for their name, email address, and phone number. The purpose of this is for the Pastor to reach out to you, thank you for attending the Worship service and answer any questions for you.
Free coffee and donuts are available from 9:15pm to 10:00am in the gathering room located in the back of the sanctuary.
During the Worship Service, there will be a Children’s Moment. The children are invited to the front of the sanctuary, where a member will give a brief message. Afterwards, children up to 5th grade are invited to the Kids Worship Zone. The leader will take the children to the Kids Worship Zone. To learn more about the Worship Zone, click here. When the service ends, you may pick up your children in the Kids Worship Zone located in Room 115 near the East entrance.
We have answers. If you don't find an answer to your question, please reach out. We're happy to help!
Come as you are! There is no formal dress code. You’ll see people in everything from jeans and t-shirts to dresses and collared shirts. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable so you can focus on worship and connecting with others.
We love having children in worship and offer age-appropriate ministries so the whole family can grow in faith. Typically this includes a nursery for infants and toddlers, Sunday school or children’s church during the service for elementary ages, and youth programs for middle- and high-schoolers. Volunteers are background-checked and trained, and kids are always welcome to stay with their parents in the sanctuary if that feels better.
Our worship services usually last about an hour and follow a familiar pattern: opening songs or hymns, prayer, Scripture readings, a message (sermon), and an opportunity to respond through giving, communion (offered regularly and open to all who wish to receive), and a closing blessing. You’ll find a mix of traditional hymns and more contemporary music. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming—feel free to participate as much or as little as you like. Bulletins or projected slides guide you through the service so nothing is a surprise.
As a Methodist congregation we stand in the broad Christian tradition, affirming the historic faith summarized in the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds: one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We emphasize God’s prevenient, justifying, and sanctifying grace, the authority of Scripture interpreted through tradition, reason, and experience (the Wesleyan Quadrilateral), and a call to personal holiness and social justice. We practice open communion and seek to live out Jesus’ command to love God and neighbor in everyday life.
