Youth Director
In July 2025, Speedway UMC welcomed Ron Cross as its Youth, Young Adult & Families Discipleship Pastor. Ron holds a certificate in preaching and is deeply passionate about developing young disciples. He brings demonstrated expertise in teaching, leadership, and spiritual formation. As our youth ministry continues to grow, he is uniquely equipped to guide and inspire the next generation in their faith journey with Jesus Christ.
Ron’s impact on Speedway UMC began long before this appointment. Over the past several years, he has served as co-leader of the Youth Group, playing a key role in its renewal and growth. His authentic leadership and ability to build meaningful relationships with young people have left a lasting and positive influence.
Since joining Speedway UMC in 2017, Ron has faithfully served with dedication, compassion, and a deep commitment to Christ. This new role reflects both his longstanding contributions to our church and his calling to help young people grow in faith and discipleship.
